What's new — we're on the stores, and a Planner for your week
The native apps are on Google Play and the App Store. Eat also has a new Planner that fills your week from leftovers, pantry and your cookbook, and stays under your calorie ceiling.
Last time we promised to write again when the apps were actually on the stores. They are. Stock Cook Eat is on Google Play and the App Store: the native app, with the same account and the same kitchen. Over the same month we built what people kept asking us for, a Planner for the week.
On the stores
- Native Android on Google Play, native iOS on the App Store. The links are on the home page.
- Sign in with the account you already have. Your pantry, recipes and diary are already there.
The Planner
Eat now has a Planner: seven days, your usual meal times, and what goes in each one. It learns your meal times from the days you actually ate, so it won't plan a 10:30 snack you never have.
- Fill the days you pick. Anything you've already set stays. Cooked food and leftovers go in first, then what's in the pantry, then recipes from your cookbook, all under your daily calorie ceiling. If a dish doesn't fit, you get half a portion instead of a broken day.
- Add a special request, like more fish, a lighter breakfast, or a dinner that keeps you full.
- You can leave while it plans. When the plan is ready, you get a notification.
- Reserve a meal out (dinner out, lunch at work) and add the place later. You can also take a meal time out of planning altogether.
- Prepare cooks the whole batch. It scales the Flow and the shopping list, and once you've cooked, the extra portions become real leftovers on the days after.
- The buy list shows only what's missing, how much, and the day you need it by.
- If you miss a planned meal, the Planner shows it and you can move it to another day.
Eat
- The chat offers what you planned for this meal. Tap to confirm all of it, or just ¼, ½ or ¾, and confirm several planned items in one send.
- Not this closes the plan for that meal. A late meal keeps its slot.
- Say when you ate (“I had lunch at two”) and that becomes the entry's time. Each entry keeps the timezone it was logged in, so travelling doesn't scramble your diary.
- Eat now knows about last night's sleep and today's workouts. Health Connect and Apple Health data comes in when you open the app.
- The Log stacks protein, fat, carbs and alcohol under the day chart. It also shows ME.E hour by hour: liver and muscle glycogen, and what happened in each hour.
- Replies type out with a light haptic tick, and the phone's natural voices read them aloud.
Stock
- Remove a meal from the diary and its ingredients go back to the pantry. Restore it and they come out again. Leftovers work the same way.
- An emptied leftover stays marked as eaten instead of disappearing.
- Adding an item on a shaky connection no longer creates a duplicate.
Cook
- Step timers live inside the recipe, and on the phone they ring through the system alarm.
- After you add ingredients to groceries, one tap puts the recipe in a Flow. Flow lists now show recipe photos.
- Recipes show a Yes / Meh / No verdict at a glance. Your Chef prompts have a copy button.
- Library books get their official covers, filled in automatically when one is missing.
Body and Recap
- The weekly Recap is redesigned. It shows macros per day, the last seven days as they happen, and daily marks on your weekly challenge.
- Science updates in ME.E: walking counts as light effort, walks and runs scale with pace, and one odd weigh-in no longer swings your weight trend.
And the rest
- Onboarding walks through Stock, Cook, Eat and you, and shows real progress.
- Calmer, more consistent motion across the apps, and a cleaner side menu with Profile and AI Personality.
The Planner is live on the web now and comes to the Android and iOS apps with the next store update. Same as always: don't log meals, just talk. 7 days of Pro, no card.
